ABOUT

Aglaée Jacob, MS, RD is a registered dietitian with 15+ years of experience, a heart & soul nutritionist, a health coach, a triple author of nutrition books, a certified self-love guide, a sacred circle holder, an energy healer, and a certified Qoya teacher. She is passionate about empowering women to eat and live in a way that matches who they truly are.

Aglaée faced many health issues, especially with her digestion and hormones at the physical level as well as mentally & emotionally with 2 decades of binge eating disorder, which included a very distorted relationship with food and a complicated relationship with her body.

Nourishment at all levels {body + mind + heart + soul} saved her life and it is the medicine that she is bringing to the world. Her biggest fear is to not live fully. Her spiritual journey has led her to find many tools & spiritual practices that have empowered her to step more fully into who she truly is, year after year, so that she can live the full life she desires.

Aglaée is also the mom of a 6-yo boy and she lives in a small town called Magog in the province of Québec, Canada, right by the Vermont border. She loves love, the moon, practicing yoga, dancing, eating chocolate, being in nature, taking afternoon naps, and stepping more fully into her Self every single day.

GETTING TO KNOW

Aglaée Jacob

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?

For me, teaching Qoya is an honor. I have this deep trust and knowing that every woman has everything she needs within and that, through movement, we can all remember together. Qoya is about connection. To Self. To other women. To our intuition. To something greater. I love using Qoya as an embodiment practice for myself and the women joining me to dance Qoya to heal & shift our relationship with our body, with our emotions, with the way we nourish ourselves, and with the way we live our life!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?

Don't overthink this. Ask your body. Say the word "Qoya" in your head and out loud and feel your body respond. It may be very subtle. Or it may be very loud. In my experience, many women feel a strong YES simply by hearing the word Qoya. Trust that. Trust how you feel. And just know that the amazing thing with Qoya is that there is no way you can do it wrong! I look forward to dancing Qoya with you!
