ABOUT
I had been practicing and teaching yoga for more than a decade with an intention of self-inquiry and what life is about. One day when my daughter Sari was 4 y/o, she said, "Mom, when I grow up I don’t want to be a mom. Being a mom is so hard…” These words evoked a longing to explore deeper the wise, bold, honest ease as a woman, something I'd like to pass on to my daughter by living it. Soon afterwards, Pelvic Floor Yoga ™ energy, sound healing, and Qoya found me. Within 3 months after the Qoya Costa Rica Intensive, I had already shared Qoya with 111 women from different paths of life, a humbling and blessed journey of abundance and love. May we always dance to remember.
GETTING TO KNOW

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?
To live life with an open heart. Qoya is a space where I practice allowing every interaction and relationship as a portal for re-balance and healing to happen within.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Envision yourself dancing and notice - how does that feel in your body? Then envision yourself not dancing - how’s that feeling in your body? Now you know the answer. Isn’t it much simpler when we decide by trusting our bodies? Qoya is not a practice to learn another new self-discovery technique; it’s an invitation to remember what you already know.
