The StarHouse is a beautiful sanctuary nestled in the foothills of Boulder, Colorado, serving and being served by the community for over 30 years.
Constructed according to ancient geometric principles of ideal symmetry, proportion, and harmony in relationship with the land and celestial beings, the building itself is a star map. Its axis is aligned with the North Star and it is perfectly oriented to the four directions.
The StarHouse embodies in its structure the changing seasons, fluctuations in sunlight, and dance of the planets and constellations. It is a powerfully supportive space that honors and celebrates the cosmic rhythms of change while nurturing deeper connections between the land, stars and human hearts.
Surrounded by the majestic beauty of nature that continually changes and evolves with the seasons, we are reminded of the rhythmic cycles of life, death and rebirth. In the midst of this movement, we can also touch into the essence of life-force energy that is timeless and enduring, beyond beginnings and endings. And we are reminded of the holiness, the wholeness, the sacred in all things.
Through decades of devoted tending of this sacred space, there is a field of powerful energy that is being continually generated and that supports us in orienting to a deeper connection within ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world. Dear Dancer,
What if our human bodies are the bridge between sky and earth? What if when we attune to the movement of planets along the starscape of the night sky, there are specific invitations to explore our own emotional evolution? What if the key to awareness is resonance? What if when you deepen your personal relationship with the planets and their placements through your body, there is an opportunity to feel the zing of alignment, the sensation of awareness and even awakening and insights? What if we see and feel things when we are ready to see and feel them?
For those who are called, this three-day embodied astrology immersion will offer you an understanding of embodying your astrological birth chart that can be a reference for the rest of your life. What you explore here can be a resource for navigating future transits with how it meets you in your individual human life and in the context of our collective journey. In addition to expanding your awareness of astrology by dancing it into your bones, we will also prioritize our relationship with the healing forces of Mother Earth. It is with our feet on the ground here, that we look up to the sky. Supported by her, we will explore a relational focus to listen deeply and collaborate with her living wisdom.
I am grateful to have been witness to Virginia's prophetic sharing of astrology for over a decade. From my perspective, her approach of Intuitive Astrology is possible because of the intimate relationship she has cultivated with herself and her body, that is a foundation for the ever deepening relationships she has built with the planets, the zodiac signs, and the earth. It is through relationship that we all open our capacity to listen and attune, to receive and also to give back. We will make offerings to the planets and zodiac signs, and through lived experience, embody our charts within the StarHouse temple: a building made to be a mirror and sanctuary honoring the living sky above us.
This is an opportunity to place our attention on our intentions and collaborate with the healing forces of nature, astrological and archetypal maps of transformation, and one another.
My vision for our time together is this: once you have the experience of coming into your chart and truly feeling it, it becomes something you can draw upon for the rest of your life. I hope that deepening your study and experience with Astrology supports you immensely as you navigate these transformative times, by seeing from a vaster view. And there is medicine in being together. Again and again, I have been witness to the alchemy of when we gather, the magic of reunion, of tending our interconnected web, of filling up together so we can each step into our next chapter resourced and renewed.
I'm so deeply grateful that we will be able to gather in the intentional space of the StarHouse near Boulder, Colorado. One of my most vivid childhood memories is flying into Denver when I was eight years old from where I grew up in the flatlands of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and seeing a mountain for the first time from the airplane. I remember the feeling of awe and wonder. Throughout my life, I have felt such strength from the mountains and am grateful that we will be able to me with each as we are with these sacred mountains.
There are many traditions that honor the mountains as living storehouses of wisdom, that regard the mountaintops with sacredness, where the highest part of earth meets the lowest part of sky. Colorado has 58 peaks above 14,000 feet, where the mountaintops meet the sky in conversation, and we get to join them.
There are moments of magic and synchronicity waiting to emerge when we align with our astrology chart. There is an opportunity for homecoming when coming back to our bodies as we cultivate embodied presence through movement, meditation, somatic practice and nourishing our nervous system. There is a healing that can happen when we deepen our personal relationship with nature. There is a potential to open up to the great mystery when we look up at the sky. And, there is a prayer here for the strengthening of social renewal and having reverence for the web that weaves us together.
I look forward to the emergent outcomes that arise when we collaborate and co-create a container for the softest parts of our hearts to honor the journey that has led us to this moment, as we remember how to read the maps and receive their guidance for moving forward with as much congruence and coherence as we can.

What airport should I fly into?
Denver International Airport (DEN) is your closest option, approximately 45–60 minutes from Boulder depending on traffic.
Where should I stay if I am traveling from out of town?
StarHouse does not offer on-site overnight accommodations. Boulder offers a wonderful range of hotels, vacation rentals, and Airbnbs to suit every preference and budget. We recommend staying close to downtown Boulder or along Canyon Boulevard for easy access to StarHouse.
How far is StarHouse from Boulder?
StarHouse is nestled in Sunshine Canyon, just a few miles from downtown Boulder — roughly a 15-minute drive up into the foothills. The venue sits at a higher elevation in the foothills, so the drive winds through a short mountain road before arriving at the property. We recommend driving or using a rideshare service from Boulder, as public transportation does not reach the venue directly.
Can I attend just one day or do I need to attend all three?
We designed the immersion as a complete three-day arc, and we encourage you to attend in full to receive the depth of the experience. If attending all three days isn't possible for you, please reach out, and we'll do our best to accommodate. Please note that single-day attendance will be available on a limited basis.
How is this immersion different from a traditional astrology workshop?
In most astrology settings, the chart is something you look at and think about. Here, it becomes something you feel. Rather than analyzing placements intellectually or abstractly, we use movement, somatic inquiry, and direct experience to explore what these energies actually feel like in your body. Most people are in awe at how much more they feel a sense of understanding when they include movement into their astrological learning.
Can I attend if I am not an astrologer but am curious about astrology?
Absolutely. This immersion is designed to welcome all levels, from those who don't know their rising sign to seasoned practitioners. Our approach meets you where you are and offers expanded opportunities of learning from wherever you find yourself.
Is there anything I should prepare or read beforehand?
You're invited to explore our Embodied Astrology Course, which offers you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the zodiac signs and also this approach of learning astrology, including the noticing of what arises through the felt sense of your embodied experience. This course will be gifted to everyone attending the immersion upon registration confirmation.
Do I need to know my birth chart to participate?
Knowing your birth date, time, and place of birth will allow you to access your chart will deepen your experience. And, you are welcome to come and work with the information that you do have.
What makes StarHouse a special venue for this immersion?
StarHouse is built as a living star map. It's architecture, sacred sites, and land are designed to mirror the cosmos above with a reverence and care that inspires and nourishes this work. With eight sacred sites on the land (including a labyrinth), every part of the retreat has somewhere to land.
What is the elevation and climate like in Sunshine Canyon?
StarHouse sits in the foothills above Boulder at approximately 6,000 feet elevation. Mornings can be cool and evenings crisp, even in June. Midday tends to be warm and sunny. We recommend layering, bringing sunscreen, and staying well hydrated, especially if you're coming from lower elevations.
