ABOUT

I'm a women's embodiment coach, inviting women to empower themselves through the body. I teach meditation, breath work, feminine activation, and Qoya as embodiment practices that complement my coaching.

I was not on this path previously. I had worked in a regular 9 to 5 job, experienced life on autopilot and followed a conditioned linear trajectory acquired by my society until it all started going horribly wrong and all my systems had collapsed. I realized how unhappy I was, particularly how disconnected I was from my owntTruth and living my own life my way!

Thus began the search for myself, my worth, confidence, LOVE and a life vibrantly lived. I am convinced that the only way to attain deep self-connection and empowerment is through the body. In fact, I have dedicated my life to working with women who also want to feel that “in their bones.” Qoya is one of the most beautiful and nourishing journeys I take with my clients to feel that transmission!

GETTING TO KNOW

Lana Nahawi

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?

I had been quite busy on a certification learning path, attempting to find the best way to customize my own embodiment practice. I had practiced meditation, breath work, movement, feminine activation, etc. and stumbled upon Qoya when I was looking to learn and teach a movement modality. Rochelle had done the hard work for me and combined everything I love into one journey that feels like a sacred ritual for the soul. Teaching Qoya means so much to me personally! It is my go to practice at home; I teach a gratitude Qoya class as the finale of my 4-month long coaching program on women's embodied empowerment, and currently it is a new way for me to connect with groups of women in varied studio settings. It touches me to feel the resonance women feel after a class, particularly when they feel that movement is a return to self. It is such an honor for me to offer a practice that allows women to connect to themselves deeply... It is what we are all yearning for!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?

It is the most gentle and nourishing invitation into movement practice. There is no way you can do it wrong, and the way you know you’re doing it right is when it feels so so good!
