GETTING TO KNOW
Meg Gaertner
WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?
When we are free, we allow others to taste freedom, to see that freedom is even possible. This is the freedom of speaking, moving, embodying MY truth and no one else’s. It is reaching my fullest self-expression, and recognizing both my own limitlessness and interconnectedness with others. It is a joyful celebration of self and of the light within. Qoya freedom invokes courage, authenticity, self-love, self-reverence, and self-pleasure. It is found in sisterhood and unconditional community. Divinity embodied and unleashed from external and internal cages. It is the feeling of being fully on fire, spreading wings and taking flight. No resistance. Saying YES to life and to self. Teaching Qoya is embodying and living the possibility of freedom that others can embrace for themselves.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Absolutely do it. Do it for yourself, for the you that you have always been and the you that is just waiting to be unleashed on the world. Do it for the women in your life who desperately seek an example of inspirational feminine power. Do it for the men in your life who need the love and connection of the divine feminine but experience only the pressures to be masculine. Do it for the world, which sorely needs more empowered, free-spirited, and insightful women to bring about a shift in consciousness in how we interact with ourselves and with others. Whatever inspires you to take this leap into flight and freedom, follow that inspiration!
