ABOUT

Growing up, I felt pressured to conform and please others, which led me down a path of self-denial and inauthenticity. I spent years running an insurance brokerage, driven by the desire for external validation and success. However, deep down, I longed for something more meaningful and fulfilling.

A pivotal moment came when I discovered Qoya, meditation, and mindset coaching. These practices allowed me to connect with my true self and break free from the people-pleasing persona I had created. Qoya, with its combination of movement, dance, and music, helped me reconnect with my body and emotions in a profound way. Meditation brought me inner
peace, reduced anxiety, and enhanced my overall well-being. Through mindset coaching, I learned to shift limiting beliefs, overcome challenges, and cultivate a positive and empowering mindset.

Inspired by my own transformative journey, I became a Qoya, meditation, and mindset coach to empower others to do the same. I create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their inner landscapes, heal, and awaken to their true essence. My passion lies in helping clients cultivate joy, purpose, and a deep connection with themselves and the world.

Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to guide others on their journeys of self-discovery and personal growth. I am committed to helping my clients break free from the constraints of people-pleasing and embrace their authentic selves. Together, we create a ripple effect of positive change, empowering individuals to live lives filled with joy, purpose, and deep fulfilment.

GETTING TO KNOW

Nikki Wood

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?

Sharing Qoya-inspired movement means inviting others to experience the profound transformative power I've discovered through the practice. It's about creating a space where individuals can connect with their bodies, emotions, and inner wisdom through movement, dance, and music. By sharing I'm offering an opportunity for others to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. I'm encouraging them to break free from societal expectations and embrace their authentic selves. It's a ripple effect of positive change, empowering individuals to live lives filled with joy, purpose, and deep fulfilment.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?

"The first time I tried Qoya, I was a reluctant mess! The thought of dancing in front of others? My worst nightmare. Every fibre of my being screamed "RUN!" Even as the class started, I was half-hearted, convinced I'd made a terrible mistake.

But then... something shifted. About halfway through, I stopped thinking and started feeling. The music, the movement, the energy in the room... it all clicked. Suddenly, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. The release was incredible, like shedding layers of stress and tension I didn't even know I was carrying.

So, if you're hesitant, I get it. But please, give Qoya a chance. Just once. See what you notice. You might be surprised at what unfolds."
