GETTING TO KNOW
Sara Ballard
WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?
To teach Qoya means that I get to facilitate my own personal growth through sharing Qoya. With every phrase I share to help women breathe deeper, and drop in more, I share those words with myself. As Rochelle says, "When I heal, they heal. When they heal, I heal." Every single Qoya class I've taught has deepened my awareness, my connection with the Divine, and has allowed me to truly feel and know that I am Wise, Wild, and Free! I have also found my community in all of the other teachers, and dancers of Qoya. Deep, real, Divine, these women have reflected back to me my deepest knowing, and my wide open heart. Through their reflection I am able to serve my own community, my family, my marriage, and myself with more love, more light, and more reverence.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Every women who has a body, and wants to be more of who she is, will LOVE Qoya! Welcome home to your body. Welcome to a community of women who accept and love you just as you are. Welcome to Qoya.
