ABOUT
I personally experienced the power of Qoya for mind, body and soul during my own healing journey following a cancer diagnosis in 2020.
The diagnosis encouraged me to examine and reflect on my lifestyle, behaviours and beliefs that may have lead to living out of balance. I am an active person, a doer, a problem solver, positivity and high energy my signature traits. Open hearted and diligent I would happily say yes to everything! Although many of these traits are my super powers, they can also come at a cost, if they are not balanced with boundaries, self care and love.
Throughout my treatment 3 words often came to me when I was in an MRI scanner or in a deep chemo hole - peace, calm, love. The message was clear, this is all that really matters right now, the realisation was profound.
The practice and teachings of Qoya have been pivotal in accessing peace, calm and love, helping me slow down and connect with my body and live a more embodied and balanced life.
Qoya inspired music and movement continues to inspire me to live a life full of intention, clarity and confidence with a new sense of connection to my inner wisdom and intuition.
I can easily still slip into the busy, rushing, achieving, people pleasing state but it is music, movement, meditation - Qoya that brings me back every time.

GETTING TO KNOW
Vicky Bodhani
WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO TEACH QOYA?
For me Qoya has been energising, inspiring, empowering, liberating, motivating and joyful! I can’t promise that it will be any of these things for you but it is likely to be unlike anything you’ve done before, so at the least it will be a new experience!
My experience of Qoya is that carving out space and time in class to listen, connect to and trust myself quickly extends to my wider life, offering greater confidence, clarity, intuition and balance.
So if you’re interested in what the transformative potential of Qoya could bring to you, then take the leap and join a class!
There are no levels in Qoya and no experience in dance or yoga is required, so everyone is welcome.
There is no way you can do it wrong and the way you know you’re doing it right is when it feels right for you!
So why not come and dance?!
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING INSPIRED TO TRY QOYA FOR THE FIRST TIME?
I love the creativity of curating a class theme and selecting music that lands with magical, medicinal power. It literally lights me up!
Qoya has been so transformative for me, that I have felt called to share it with others. I am really excited to share this powerful somatic practice, in the knowledge that Qoya can be empowering and expansive for many more in my local and online community.
